Driving to the festival
Cool Britannia Festival is located off the A1 M of London. Please use the post code SG1 2AX in your sat navs to arrive at the correct entrance. Follow signs to the appropriate car park on your parking pass to determine which access gate to follow when approaching the festival.
Please ensure you have purchased the relevant car park pass which will need to be displayed clearly in your vehicle at all times over the weekend.
If you wish to get a taxi to and from the festival site we strongly recommend that you pre-book as there will be no taxi rank at the entrance to the festival. Stevenage have a number of different taxi companies that will be available to pre-book.
pick up & drop off
There will be a designated drop off/ collection area close to the festival entrance. This point will be signposted as you approach the site. Please note that you cannot park at the drop/ collection area.
weekend and day parking
Both weekend and day parking is available. A parking ticket will allow entry for one vehicle.
The car park will be open at 12:00 - 01:00 on Friday, and at 08:00 - 02:00 Saturday and Sunday. The car park will close at 14:00 on Monday.
Please note this is a vehicle pass only and DOES NOT include entry to the festival. A Weekend or Day Parking ticket must be purchased in addition to a Camping or Weekend ticket.
The nearest train station is Stevenage , which is situated approximately two miles away from the festival site. Regular services run from London Kings Cross Station directly to Stevenage Station, as well on the East Coast Main line from Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds and many other connecting stations. There is a taxi rank outside Stevenage station on Lytton Way.
